v1.0 — General availability

elNudge is generally available. Full platform launch including intent scoring, all nudge types, voice, A/B testing, analytics, and platform integrations.

elNudge is generally available. This release marks the full platform launch, bringing together everything built during the pilot and beta phases into a production-ready product with complete documentation, SLA commitments, and Shopify App Store listing.

What's new in v1.0

Intent scoring engine

Real-time visitor intent scoring based on behavioral signals — scroll depth, hover patterns, cart interactions, time on page, and page sequence. Scores update continuously throughout the session and drive all nudge triggers.

All four nudge types

  • Chat bubble — conversational AI assistant that visitors can open at any time
  • Exit intent modal — triggered when a visitor's cursor moves toward the browser chrome
  • Toast notification — subtle, non-intrusive nudge that appears in a corner
  • Sticky bar — persistent top or bottom bar with a short message and call to action

AI chat in 27 languages

The chat assistant detects the visitor's preferred language and responds in kind. Supported languages include English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, and 17 more. No configuration required — language switching is automatic.

Voice interface (in 27 languages)

Visitors can speak to the AI agent instead of typing. Voice is available in all 27 supported languages. See Voice Minutes & Overage for plan details.

Shopify App Store listing

elNudge is available on the Shopify App Store with a one-click install. OAuth-based authorisation, automatic script tag injection, and GDPR webhook handling are all managed by elNudge.

WooCommerce integration

Install the elNudge plugin for WooCommerce from the WordPress plugin directory. Cart and purchase events are automatically tracked.

Analytics dashboard

Track sessions, nudge impressions, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue attribution, and voice usage. Data is available in real time with day/week/month views and CSV export.

A/B testing

Create up to 3 variants of any nudge message and split traffic to find the best-performing copy. Available on Growth and Scale plans. See v0.8 changelog for setup details.

CSV export

Export sessions, events, conversations, and A/B test results to CSV from Dashboard → Analytics → Export.

Webhook API

Receive real-time event notifications for app lifecycle events, session completions, nudge impressions, and conversions. See the Webhooks documentation.

REST API

Programmatic access to sites, visitors, sessions, and nudge configuration at https://api.elnudge.com/v1.

Known limitations

Firefox voice not supported
Firefox does not implement the browser microphone API required for voice input. On Firefox, the voice button is not shown and visitors use text chat automatically. This is a browser limitation; no fix is planned.

Upgrade notes

Upgrading from v0.9 (pilot)

Cart event schema was updated in v1.0. The cart.add event now includes product_name and currency fields that were absent in v0.9. If you have custom webhook handlers or downstream integrations that parse cart events, update your schema accordingly.

Pilot merchants are automatically migrated to v1.0 — no manual action is required to upgrade the SDK. Verify that your cart and purchase events are firing correctly in Dashboard → Analytics → Events after the upgrade.
